Hard to know who to believe. Do you think that all the Mustangs leaving the plant that need rail transportation go to the same railhead for outbound destinations? Or do they use several? My car was built on the 23rd and the computer lady said it is now at the ramp as of March 1st. So why would mine escape this clog and yours did not? Maybe it's just shipments in a particular direction that are held up? We'll never know but all this speculation helps pass the time.

I live exactly half way between the factory and the holding yard or ramp I guess it's called. I see hundreds parked there everyday on my way to work. Feel like a child locked out of a candy store. Sometimes I see a parade of them driving from the plant to the yard, it's probably about 5 miles. I'm sure I've seen some of yours. They look quite nice. You're all going to be pleased. Unfortunately, mine's not built yet.

mine's one of them. This is BULL. I will never order another car again. And Ford will be extremely fortunate if I buy ANYTHING from them after this.

yeah but on the other hand...isn't it nice to finally have a car that makes you emotional again...?? You wouldn't be this upset if you were waiting for a camry!!!

I'd be more upset if I ordered in spring or summer and it was delayed. At least the weather still stinks, if I get it end of April or May, perfect.

I've already changed my order once, upgraded the wheels. IF it takes much longer I might decide to make a few other changes. I'm starting to worry a bit about black and how it shows dirt. My second choice would be redfire, but it's too common, sonic blue is nice, but a bit too bright for my liking, Silver just seems plain and mineral gray seems like something an older person would get. White, yellow and lime are out of the question, windveil blue just doesn't seem exciting to me and torch red is too bright. OK, I guess I stick with black and wash it every other day.

Doesn't anyone live close to the Flat Rock plant or ther train ramps where all of these cars are sitting that can tell us when they start to see some trains coming and going from this place?

This would ease some of the tension.

I do, if I stood on my roof I could see the plant. I see the cars out driving around with plastic on them all the time, I see them on trucks. I haven't noticed any on trains, but haven't looked hard for that. The yard next to the train is very full, all the V6's in one area, all the Gt's further back. I've heard the plant stopped building Mazda 6's, which are also produced there, to concentrate soley on the Mustang.

I know it sounds silly, but if you see some trains pulling up to the plant let us know. That would be a good indication that they are starting to move.
