take the ambient lighting, and stick it on a scion. THIS IS A FORD MUSTANG. M U S T A N G. like steve mcqueen bullitt boss 429 gt500 terminator M U S T A N G. im so glad i got mine in 05. if u want ambient whattever go buy a scion or honda or whatever.

Is this car sitting on a dealers lot? I ordered a 2008 on 5/22, wouldnt Ford fill orders first before filling dearler lots? At least I would think so.

I got mine on order! No ambient lighting for me! HID is coming, though.

I can't wait. Hopefully I can talk the dealership into doing a GT500 front and rear conversion for me.

I am glad I didnt go with the ambient myself, but I should have done the HID. oh well

I didn't order the HID's either, but I'm trying to add it to my order. Maybe you can too if it's not too late?

I called and left a message for my dealer. I have had my VIN number for 2 1/2 weeks...maybe its too late for me.

Man, I saw a beautiful 2008 Dark Candy Apple Red Mustang GT Premium yesterday at a Ford Dealership. It had 18 inch polished wheels.
It was a nice bright sunny day in N.E. Ohio, and that color looked great! The car also had HID. They wanted near $32k for it.

Well...my dealer said he will try and add the HID option. He said it might go through because I do not have a delivery date yet.

Is that Candy Apple darker then the 07 Torch Red?

They're pretty close I think. Maybe Redfire has a little more purple in it under certain lighting conditions.....
