2007 with red interior?
We just bought a 2007 GT convertible with the red interior. The previous owner thought that the red interior was a rare option. Anyone know how many were produced in 2007?

The red interior in 07 is very rare.. Must more rarer then in 05 and 06. This is because to get it you first have to order the upgraded interior package and then the premium trim package. That combined its an $855 option to get a choice of red, chamois, or black interior. It also included the stitched dash, stitched console top, different door panel inserts and upgraded pedal trim and shifter hole trim, shifter ****. I have the same interior with chamois interior. I would estimate no more then 50 were built like yours in the same color combo in a convertible

What you want is the Take Rate Report for 2007. I have been trying to get this document for years, but even communicating directly with Ford has produced no results.
Anyway, here is a link for the 2008 Take Rate Report to give you an idea what might have happened in 2007
In 2008 it was 5.28% of GT Convertible production that had the Crimson Red interior.
