There is no hope.

I hate to tell you this, but if you look at the '06 Must OGs, the 3rd revision of it dated Feb 06 still said "*All dimensions and horsepower/torque ratings are preliminary figures"

If there was any HP increase it would have been spelled out on page 1 & 2 the OG under "key marketing points & Major product changes".

I'm not planning on buying one anyway so I really don't care. I was just trying to point that it said that at the end. You might also note I said a "tiny" ray of hope.

Any word yet when you can place an order for an 07? Since the insurance company has totaled my '05, I just might place an order for an 07 instead of getting an 06.

,And what do you think the chances are that 'Dove' is WHITE!?
Slim to none.

Go look at a Lincoln.
They have had "Dove" interiors since the 2004 model year.
Dove on a Lincoln is a light grey.

IS this a direct connect for ipod?

I dunno...theres a thread in OEM parts section of this Message board about the Triptunes.

I know I want it to be a direct connect for the ipod so you can control it from the headunit, but I doubt it..its prob a unverisal 3.5mm plug.

The GT500 has no spare tire. Maybe I am just a little bit tired, but there is something hilarious about a "Fix a flat" tire repair kit on a $40,000 car.

If they are going to eliminate the spare, then why not run flats?

Aren't all cars supposed to have tire pressure monitoring by '08 anyway?

For some reason I thought that Dove would be a shade of grey. Can't recall what gave me this impression

Some noteworthy items:

New Tire Pressure Monitoring System
No mention of Homelink w/autodim mirror
No 6 speed manual transmission
Option of Black Cloth convertible top instead of vinyl

Has anyone seen the color chart of Alloy Grey??

Better get ready to laugh
The Ford GT has the same kit, because of the lack of spare.

The Black Cloth top is for the GT500 only, not the regular V6 and GT convertibles.

Also, what about the temperature display for the homelink mirrot too? The pics that have been posted for the accessory Ford mirror show homelink and a temp indicator.

I don't understand....how are these two colors different than the current parchment and graphite that are already offered? Also on the new two tone interior colors, is the red exactly the same as this year's ICAP, and can we therefore expect that the dove and chamois will get the same treatment as this year's red ICAP, i.e. in the chamois cars, basically a tan dash/doors, with black carpets, black door inserts, and then full chamois-colored seats front and rear??

What I was really hoping for in a new two-tone interior for the GT was an "insert" color similar to the GT500 pics, like a black interior with a stripe of red color (or gray, or tan) down the center of the seat. That would look much nicer and more custom IMHO.

The sport appearance pkge 18M now With Color accent-, steering, and shift **** and aluminum pedal covers - no 18G iup , is available in Parchment and Graphite.
The Premier trim with color accent 68B is now available in 5 colors not just red.
Cool, you can get black interior components ..door panels that blend with shaker speakers and black carpet, and black dash with 5 color choices of seat colors and door panel inserts.

According to the order guide for the V6/GT, the black cloth is listed there as an option to the Black Vinyl. The GT500 order guide shows only the black cloth top.

It's listed in the lower left-hand box at the bottom of page 7. MM is the code for the black vinyl top and CA for the black cloth.

It looks to me like the manuals are coming with a 3:31 now. You have to special order the 3:55 and it is ,as before, only on the manual. I wish we go back to the old days when you could chose from a whole bunch of different ratios depending on how you were going to use the car. Oh well, it ain't gonna happen,

Oh darn! I missed that. Excellent observation, and after looking at the guide, I agree. Geez! You have to ORDER the 3.55? On the other hand, two stock GT's at the line and you have the 3.55's... can't be all bad. Still, that's poopy. One other cool change was the very inexpensive sport interior aperance package added aluminum pedals and includes black seats, carpets and door inserts with any interior color to give lots of contrast.

I want a graphite interior with this package on a GT Deluxe coupe but would not want the seats to be black, just the door inserts and floor mats. On the order guide's first page where this option is mentioned, there is phrase saying "cloth or leather seats providing contrast in Graphite or Parchment interiors and aluminum pdeal covers." Does this mean that the seat color remains graphite for this particular interior color rather than being replaced with black?

Thanks for any help.
