2007 Mustang GT/CS Order
I decided to go ahead with an order on a Vista Blue GT/CS convertible. Went to the dealer and discussed on July 5. He called to inform me the order was entered on 12 July. He called to inform this morning I am scheduled for build week of 31 July. I just want to get some feedback on how quickly anyone else has been able to get an order "scheduled" for build on the Calif Spec. The reason I ask is I wonder if I just got extremely lucky or my dealer may well be blowing smoke!

Vista Blue.....my favorite Mustang color! Congrats on your order. I can't really answer any of your questions since I ordered mine back in April but it seems some here have had their orders processed much quicker than others.

i ordered white gt/cs ragtop on 9 june and also have build scheduled for week of 31 july. yours scheduled 4 weeks faster than mine.
i'm not letting myself stress about dates because as the weeks roll by, i'm pitching away extra cash for down-payment.

Plus the more you stress the longer it seems to take. ![Wink](https://themustangsource.com/forums/images/smilies/wink.gif)
My car's been built since 6/26, and it still isn't at the dealer. The rail car was in town for a day and a half before they unloaded it. Before that it sat in Salt Lake City for a full day, in Illinois for 2, and a week at the plant before even getting loaded. Today I was told it's not scheduled to be delivered to the dealership until Wednesday. That's 2 more days I have to wait. Then, since they screwed up the order, I want them to swap out the trunk lid with one from a V6 with no spoiler, so I don't have holes in the lid (or filled holes and a repaint) right away, and I don't know how long that will take. Plus I have yet to get a difinitive answer on the rims and what they're going to do about that, and sounds like there's been a major personnel shakeup in the sales department this week, so that just makes it more fun. In the meantime I've made a friend at the storage yard, and I've become a regular peeping tom across the street from the railyard. Good thing my girlfriends mom gave me a set of huge binoculars a few years ago. And I guess it's a good thing there's nothing else around the railyard, so they don't think I'm spying on anything else important. Just a bunch of cars to see out there.
This wait is getting rough, but I know it'll end eventually. I hope.

I ordered my 07 GT performance white mustang on 6-26 and I got the call today saying that it is scheduled for the assembly line on 7/31 also. I hope it will ship soon after that so that I can have my navigation system put in and start driving it! Keep us posted on what other dates they post for you and I will do the same!
