That is my son's Mustang that I co signed for. Hopefully about this time next year I will have my own. I want a GT but darn I love the looks of that Pony package grill. I wonder if it will fit on a GT? hmmm

I have a love/like relationship with the stripe. In the long run, I liked it enough to not either: order a car to get without one or keep looking for a car when I found one with all the options I wanted that had the strip. I like the black stripe on TR. I saw a WB with the black stripe and that I didn't like so much. As for the GT vs. V6 with Pony, we went back and forth. At first hubby said I should get a GT...until he saw the Pony Pkg (plus the extra 5-10K for a GT). Now if they offered a GT with the Pony Pkg, I don't know what would have happened... I personally don't care for how large the GT foglights are. It looks like 4 headlights to me. I know some people think the Pony Pkg fogs are too small. At least Ford lets us choose right? I have heard conflicting info about the PP grill fitting on a GT...

As for the GT grille I don't like the huge foglight look either and think the pony package grille has the perfect size lights. The corralled horse looks much better also in my opinion.

The PP really reminds me so much of my 68 I used to own in HS except it was a coupe instead of a fastback. This 06 coupe looks like a fastback Anyways, I know the PP was what helped me cement my husband's approval on buying my Belle

Yea I had a black 67 Mustang coupe in High School and it reminds me of it also. By the way the 67 had a 200 6cyl in it but we stuffed a 351C engine in it that came from a 73 Torino station wagon if I recall correctly. Anyways it was a blast. Ahhh the memories.
