And you didn't go all the way down the bumpers because...?

 

Did you mean 1 3/4" gap rather than 3/4" gap?

 

had a typo... have 1 3/4 " spacing between stripes...
The reason i didn't go all the way down the bumpers is that with the black stripes i feel that the grille gets "swallowed" and doesn't look as nice... if the stripes were a different color then that would probably be ok to bring all the way down.
