I'm not a body man, I had to have this work done by a professional body shop.
You are welcome. Ya I meant the product used to do the body work. I was just curious.

Ok we got the car back on Friday, February 23, two weeks a head of schedule and under budget. I couldn't be more pleased with how it turned out. If you'll remember we changed things up a but to help save some cost. They fixed all the rust on the driver side rear quarter panel. That included the rocker, the panel that connects to the rocker, the wheel well lip, the gas filler, the support piece behind the rear wheel that keeps the bumper in place, the ripple in the passenger side rear quarter, and the roof. The then painted the roof all the way down past the quarter windows, the trunk and both rear quarters. They also removed the rear quarter window louvers and installed a set of Eleanor scoops in their place. Then the buffed out the rest of the car. It turned out FANTASTIC!

My first modification after getting the car back was to install a set of these lower side scoops.

Time to replace these grills. They are is awful shape and look horrible. This is just an overlay over top of the original grill. As you can see the original "Horse" emblem is still in place behind it. Turns out half the hardware holding the upper and lower grills were wood screws.

It appears the original fog lights were replace by the last owner with Raxiom Halo lights but the Halo is no longer working. I hope to replace these at some point with another set of halos but there will have to do for the time being.

The new grill looks awesome in my opinion.

Next I have to replace these headlights. I like these Raxioms but DO NOT like the smoked look. I need to be able to see at night and you can't see effectively with these lights, but that is a project for another day

Thanks for taking the time to follow along with our project

I'm not a fan of fog lights clumped together I like them spread out. But that's just IMHO.

Its all good, everyone is entitled to their opinions. I'm not offended by any means. For me it gives me that 67 Shelby retro feel. It will look better when I get rid of those smoked headlights for a clear set. I like to be able to see when I'm driving at night.

Thanks for taking the time to be part of the conversation, MF.

Same here, as I also prefer the look of fog lights that are spread out better as well...

Although, I much prefer the look of the spread-out fog lights on the "68" Shelby GT500 better, I really like the looks of your new grill overall... Congrats!

Back in the Day The Members Were Positively Rabid For The Center Mount Fog Grille or any Grille That Would Make Their Car Different. There Were More Than One Style Early On I tested Them All on My Gt & Gt/Cs. Sadly The Pic's on Many of the Old Topics Are Lost to Forum Hack & Pictiger!

I Love Em! I Wish They Had Made a Center Mount Grille For The 07-09 Gt-500

Here is a Pic For a Mocked Up Pony Emblem on One and The Later Street Scene Kit Link. Got Some in the Attic Still I Think! Just Some Random Test Grilles. In Fact One Like The Monster Grille Just Removed From The Op car! That Thing Was Stupid Heavy!

Exactly 100% spot on... As long as everyone who voices their opinions are done in both a constructive and respectful manner, should all be entitled to express them without fear of being neither offended nor looked down upon... At the end of the day, it should only come down to just being a matter of personal preference, nothing more.

Like a Parking Lot Full of White Cuv's Don't Matter What Make They All Look the Same! The Great thing about the Mustang is It's Non Generic and So Customizable! I Miss the Days When All Cars Had a Distinct Personality! Instantly You Could Tell a Cars Make Even if You Did Not Know Model! A Ford Was a Ford and a Buick Was A Buick! Now So Many of The Models Would Be Hard To Tell Without Badges!

The Op's Car Has Come a Long Way and is Looking Good!

And if everyone all shared the same preferences about everything, we all would become nothing but a bunch of robotic organisms with no personality and with no soul... it's our personalities which make each and every one of us unique from one another in every way....

So, by all means, keep on posting.
