If anyone ordered the 64E's thinking they were Fanblades and visa versa on the 18" bullitts.....don't you think you woulda checked first?

I wanted the bullitt wheel but wasn't willing to wait for late availability. If it turns out that the 64E is the bullitt (oh, and I wanted a tribar pony center cap too), I'll be a real happy camper!

We need pix!!!

I did... as I'm sure many others did. I was told they were fan blades. As I'm sure many others were.

Well, actually I had anticipated the 64W's being the Bullitts since we had already seen Fanblades on some cars.

I am sorry to sound stupid, but i dont understand??? I did the math, what is the purpose of getting the 18" rims? The tires are thinner so you dont change the diameter of the over all tires at all??? Makes no real difference other than lower profile more expensive tires and rougher ride!!! right???

No difference other than looks that is...

Am i wrong in my thinking??? i cant see paying more for a rougher ride...

I don't know about others, but for me it's simply a matter of how the car looks.

With the 17" rims there is a very large gap between the tire and wheelwell... especially in the back. I'm hoping the 18s will reduce that gap.

there are many size tires you can get with 18" rim..as long as you don't order super low profile, the feel of the ride will be practically the same.however the look of an 18" rim compared to the 17" is definitely noticeable

Agree. IMO 18's are the perfect size for this car. I'm not saying the 17's look bad, because they don't.

Hey I just noticed this - the show car wheels don't have a valve stem or opening for a valve stem! how'd they get the air in there?

The valve stem is on the back side. Small custom made runs like this the wheel manufacturer can put it there. Also, alot of custom wheel makers like Coddington, Colorado Custom and Budnik will put them there is well. Gives the wheel a nice, clean look.
