I heard in the rumor bin that there were going to other cars built on this platform. One being the Cougar.

Has anyone heard of the future plans for other cars that will be built on the 05 Mustang platform?

There has gotta be someone who works on the inside that can give some info .

I'm really looking forward to a new 06 GT but I would like to know what other cars are going to be available from on this platform.

Edit: I really hope they do build that Cougar on this platform.

Most likely the Vic replacement. 427 maybe? Lincoln should develop a sports coupe from the next Cobra.

 

If Lincolns is going to based off the Cobra, I think that will be alittle more than I want to spend .

I bet it's going to be a nice car though.

I bet your right, and I'll keep my eye out for any news. Maybe they'll start making them after they start selling the crap out of these new Mustangs. You know their not going to sit on lots for long.

That's a pretty confident remark in regards to what he thinks the sales are going to be like for this new Mustang. It's just a cool car, PERIOD.
