This may or maynot have been asked before. But my search function is not working it keeps coming back with and error. Anyways, will 2005 rims fit onto a 2001-2004 mustang. thanks in advance.

I'm pretty sure the answer is no, given that the offset (backspacing) in the 05 is different. People keep saying that the wheels will stick out on the sides of an 05 if late model rims are used, so I'm guessing that the reciprocal effect will occur if you use 05's on a late model.

I'm no expert, so you may want to wait for more compelling reasoning, but that's how I understand it.

pre05 offset is 23mm 05+ offset is 45mm i was originally under the impression that the old wheels didnt work but i thought i read that someone on another forum did it and it looked ok
