2005 v6 regular gad or premium

I've been buying premium for awhile cause I was used to doing it for my old 2004 but I looked in the manual of the 05 v6 and it says 87 octane. Now my question is will it make my engine life last longer to use the more expensive or should I just go with the manual says 87 octane?

IIRC all S197's were engineered to run on regular gas. To get any benifit from higher octanes, you would need a tune.

Your welcome. Only thing I can suggest is don't get stuck to one brand of gas. Its all the same gas just different brands have different additives or cleaners in them.
