Need to know date that you ordered and if you have a build date yet and what is that date?

It seems that the people you are waiting the longest are those ordering GTs. I am just wondering if this is coincidence or not.

Ordered a Legend Lime Metallic V6, EUP, IUP, Traction Control and ABS, Side Airbags....Order date 1-2-05. Was told at that time it would be 8-10 weeks. This past Sunday, yesterday, was exactly 10 weeks....my car arrived at the dropoff station in Benicia, about an hours drive north of here, this past Friday, (along with 11 other Mustangs my dealer has coming in). Just waiting for a transport truck to deliver it. I'll have it sometime this week.

 

Dealer had what I wanted in stock. As did several others here in Central TX. But get what you want, even if you have to wait, it will be worth it...

 

I did order what I wanted.. The reason for this thread is to give me a guesstimate on when I will recieve mine. I am guessing 2 months..

 

Got mine last night after a 5 month wait!! When I get the pic my sales man took at delivery last night I'll post a topic for the delivery. Sure was fun cruzin around last night with my kids (12-15)! Unfortunately the weather has not cooperated today so I didn't bring it to work.

 

I will be ordering today or tomorrow (see the sig for specs). I was told by the Fleet Manager at McKenzie that it would be 10 to 15 weeks. That seems par for the course for virtually any one ordering... If I have a high priority number I'll try and sweet talk to get it lower

 

Ordered mine on 2-14, two weeks later had a build date of 3-14. Looks like I might get it within the 6-8 window the Dealer told me about.......

Going with a high volume Dealer helps get it faster since they have a larger allocation from Ford..... B)

 

That is why I went with a high volume dealer the sales guy told me that they get a big allocation because of their size. Hopefully I am in the same boat as you

 

I ordered a V6 Sonic Blue mustang with IUP on 2/19 and got serialized last friday. My build date is the week of 4/4.

Hopefully it will arrive by mid April.

 

Ordered V6 Premium Vert, White, Black Top, IUP & ICAP. Build date was 3-3 and it is on a rail car right now. ETA is 3-15.....

 

Expecting mine to show up any day now, which seems to be the hardest part of the wait.

 

LET'S SEE, ORDERED ON 11/15/04, DIDN'T GET VIN TILL 2-15 WHEN IT WAS SUPPOSED TO ARRIVE, WAS TOLD 2 TO 3 WEEKS FROM THEN, THEN TOLD BETWEEN MARCH 14TH AND 26 TH, THEN GOT NO DATE, THEN WAS JUST TOLD MARCH 21ST TO THE 28TH! WAS NOW TOLD IT WAS A RAILCAR SHORTAGE KEEPING MY CAR FROM ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I ordered 2/19 and have a build week of 4/4, no ETA yet.

 

Well my last signature had ALL the details. But check mine out anyway. Finally got it last Thursday after being given 2 ETA's & then being told that is was still in MI & was in quality maintaince storage so they could check a part.

 

It would appear that average wait time for the V6 Mustang is about 8 to 10 weeks. With a rare occasion that someone gets it in 6 or 15 weeks.

 

Hey Super Sonic, stealing my car? Just kidding, looks like we'll have twins! What dealership did you go through? Ricart? I went through one up here in Youngstown, and I'm in week 15 with a March 28th build date. Called Ricart and they said by mid-April which is when mine should be in. Maybe we'll run into each other sometime. B)

 

My Build Date slipped by two weeks. It's now 3-28-05. Oh well!
