Dang Juice....You were on the Menopause? We had a RM1 from her ride us for a while...forgot his real name (wilder?) we called him "Twitch". If you ever met him you would know why.

Just missed you on the Spear....was Jay Cohen still CO in 93'? He was my first CO on the Rickover...then my last when I got out on the Spear. He is now RADM Cohen and in charge of Undersea Research.

RM1(SS) Raxter

later...

Not that I recall, but I always will remember their are 3 groups of people you didn't mess with while underway,

MS's--food
RM's--Family Grams
A-gang--because they were generally mean. and they signed most of your qual card.

I can't remember the Spear's CO's last name, but he had come off the Birmingham and was known as "Screamin Jack." Never met him face to face, but he was at production meetings and such. Believe it or not, served on the boat for two years and never talked to the CO or XO.

Hey guys, does it count that I once drove my tank thru a river crossing deep enough that I was under water and my tank commander had to tell me which direction to go because all I could see were fish swimming around? Delta Co. Task Force 1/5 Dragons!
