Just incase anybody wanted to look:

Edmunds

Just look under all Fords and you'll see the 2005 V6 listed. GT not listed yet, but some info on it under the V6 section.

They gave it a nice review:

"Ford has done a fine job with the new Mustang -- not only in terms of styling, but also in performance, handling, ride dynamics and basic ergonomics."

"...a relatively supple ride and ultracrisp handling."

"Interior ergonomics are vastly improved over the previous Mustang. Switches and handles feel substantial, and overall materials quality is top-notch."

"The Mustang turns crisply and eagerly into corners with a flat and composed attitude. The powerful brakes are more fade resistant than before, and control in bumpy corners is improved, despite the continued use of a solid rear axle. The comfortable cabin benefits from low wind and road noise, as well as a surprisingly compliant ride."

One mistake I noted: they list the V6 as being offered with a four-speed automatic transmission.

You can also go to MSN under autos and have a dealer send you a quote...

They have the V8 listed.

I requested a quote from 2 local dealers. Wonder if they will respond and what they will want. I was planning on waiting til next spring/summer, but a $500 over invoice offer would be tempting.

On edmunds, with the v6 premium package, the sport appearance isnt an option, but on the deluxe, it is. So is the sport package included on the v6 premium?

thanks

Cons No side curtain airbags or stability control, seats could use more lateral support.

I thought for sure that side air bags were an option? Am I mistaken?

Check the "Safety" section in the review to see what they are talking about:

"Side-impact airbags for front occupants are optional on all models, but full-length head curtain airbags are not available."
