so the NFSU:2 demo came out today and i couldn't help but give it a shot. i always enjoy a good driving game, even if it is ricers and the like. i'm obviously a mustang man myself but a fun game is a fun game...regardless of where my automotive alligences happen to fall.

anyhow...i was installing the game and this was the first thing i saw:

i haven't played the game yet...but i wanted to post this before while i had the screencapture. besides the fact that the car looks like the back end isn't even touching the ground...all i can say is:

ick.

that looks retarted imo. i'm gunna get in the game and see if there is anythign else. it's a demo so not likely to have a choice of the primo cars.

anyhow...i'll give the game a look and see if i come across anything, but this deffinatly isn't a good sign.

That's probably with a bunch of mods added to it. I'm sure you can get it to look more 'muscle' and less 'rice' without adding those mods.

 

possibly...but will it be able to compete without a 3 level wing on the trunk and some sort of neon kit? i think not. lol.

yeah whatever they did to it there is pretty nasty. i'd deffinatly try and keep it on the ground. the mix of a jacked up back end and ground effects + a hover light kit looks pretty retarted.

And the thing obviously has a hydraulics kit. (Notice the rear wheels are a bouncin' -- and off the ground). ;-) I hear those hydraulic bouncers are important for the track...

 

i think it actually adds an extra 15hp at the wheels.

i wouldnt worry tho in thos games you can customize your car to fit your whim

 

i was showing a friend the demo this morning and noticed there are controls to adjust your hydrolics...so i'm guessing that when they took the screenie someone was makeing the car bounce and it's not actually jacked up in the back end like that.

at least i hope it's not.

 

I just tried the demo, this game is a POS. Dunno why, must be the poor 350Z one gets to drive

everyone should wait for Grand Turismo 4 to arrive. GT4 is going to be one kick **** game

yeah gran tourismo 4 is going to rock. i'm really looking forward to that. the 350Z does handle like carp though. in the first NFSU i wound up with a skyline and it was the best of the bunch.

it's a fun distraction until half-life 2 comes out anyhow.
