The intake broke on the 5.0 on the first dyno pull, but they fixed it. That was the 5.0 cammer in the car. It's essentially just a mach 1 motor spray bored out to 5.0, with a different manifold.

I was VERY curious to see Tom S (SVT) in the beginning of the show. I think between this car and the GT-R, we are seeing some hints of the future SVT. It can no longer be denied.

SHEESH! i am let down! come on guys! where's the online version!?
I just started reading this thread from the beginning, and i was all like, "oh i'm sure there'll be a link somewhere along here for all us folks who don't have cable and were at work all night anyways." But here i am! At the end of the thread, and nothing! Just a little picture that makes the cars butt look big.
Come on, script! You can do it! Don't worry about the other things in your life. You gotta make it so that other people can watch this stuff!
I think it will be really cool to see this car racing against other cars which would all be terribly uninspiring by comparison. soon, my friends, soon...

I glad this show is finaly comming on.... I hope they didn't cut me out of this show. They did an interview with me at the 40th celebration in Nashville.
That was a great show. I loved how they built on to the 5 liter engine. The car still sounded like a mustang but on steroids. The show gave us some idea how the production car will look with some meatier tires and shorter springs.
car looked great without the spoiler

Ok, I have way too much attention deficit to read every post on this thread but I was wondering if anyone said or knows if the Discovery show will be replayed and if so, when?
Thanks!

Well I am transferring the vid to my computer right now. It looks like to view it in any sort of enjoyable quality the file will have to be 350 - 400ish megs. Does any one want to down load a file that big? Or do you want me to make the quality super sh*ty?
The size I projected, to be more specific would be relevant to the quality of a VCD. For those of you who know what that is.

Just make sure your provider doesn't mind the bandwidth usage!
Thank You Discovery Channel :worship: Anyone know when that show was filmed? They said that they had difficulty getting their hands on the prototype chasis. I think it might have been early in August. If they repeat the show don't miss it, that white 5.0 was flying around the track once they dialed in the rear end.
That was a great show, I got off school a little early and got home just in time to watch it...I didn't even know it was on!
That will definitely be the stance on my car....
Umm, what channel is #277 on DirectTV, I just switched from them to Dish Network...
