Just because they don't have them now, doesn't mean they won't have them in the future. If you have seen the Mirrors with the Black Pebble Finish, up close and in person, you would know by their design, that the color caps are going to be coming on a future (SE/Cobra/Etc) Mustang. The Combination Black with Painted, or Chrome Caps on the Mirrors, is FORD's "Corporate look."

Probably right, but I'm not sure if they'll look that great. Guess we'll have to see.

My thought on the mirrors is keep them black. If you had 2 cars driving towards you on the road, 1 with black mirrors and the other painted, the painted ones would stand out like a sore thumb. The black ones tend to fade into the background and all you initially notice is the cars body. I rather be checking out the overall look of a car, not the mirrors.
