Just saw a flyer at a local dealership. Here is a link to
their PDF
http://www.jenningsandersonford.com/Weekly...le.aspx?id=5013

Im not drumming up business for these guys...
I just saw it and knew someone up here could use it for leverage
on their local dealership or as an excuse to visit the Alamo!
They are around 5 miles northwest of San Antonio.

Interesting. I wonder if they have any GT's in stock. There ad says 3K off of all Mustang convertibles and that they have 11 in stock. My guess is they're all v-6's.

Great to see Texas dealerships are starting to see the light however. There's a dealer in Austin that's had a couple of used GT's on the lot for over two months now and they still insist on asking $3K over MSRP for used GT's!!

I took my business out of town and picked my GT from stock and got x-plan to boot.

Bob you beat me to it! I had set aside that section of the paper and was going to post it in the South West section.

Usually if something seems too good to be true, it usually is. I do not know of any Ford dealer who would sell a Mustang convert for $3000 off MSRP unless either he marked them up over MSRP to begin with or they are used cars. Here is pricing for a pretty well loaded V-6 vert. There is only $2000 markup to invoice so that means he is selling for $1000 UNDER invoice. I don't think so, as any other dealer would pay him invoice or above to have Mustangs to sell.

I see why they're so cheap. Right hand drive.

(And the rocker stripe is screwed up)

The dealers around me have V6 Verts coming out of their ears. I checked out a bunch of dealers and counted over 40 - V6 verts. Saw less than 20 - V6 coupes. The only GT I saw sitting on a dealer's lot was a vert.

Some of the verts stickered for over $29K.
