You may be able to get it as a dealer installed accessory once the car comes in, but its hard to say until it gets closer to production.

Not to change the subject here, but I see in the order guide that you can order the V6 with a "Exterior Sport Appearance Package". I would like to get a GT with the tape stripe on the rocker panel, is this an option on the GT? I know that it has been discussed that there is always after market but how about order option?
They cost like $40 to get tape stripes for rocker panels.

How about stripes for the hood, if that's what I decide to do?

Depends on what you want, paint or vinyl. Vinyl can run anywhere from say $300 to $1000, and painting is probably $2000 and up.

If its color/stripes you are trying to decide on, try making a request in the photoshop sticky thread. One of those guys might be able to whip up something so you can see what it would look like before you actually do it.

$300 for vinyl is low. Maybe at the low end $1500 for painting? Doing stripes correctly is a bit of work. I still say $2000 is more like it.

If you have the money, you can repaint the entire car that color of silver from the auto show with the stripes.

The auto-show car is Titanium silver, I believe. The strips are not white, but a lighter shade of silver (I'm guess Satin silver, the production silver).

Do they have a paint code for that particular shade of silver, for those that would consider getting a custom paint job.

Its in the "2005 Mustang Photoshops Part 3: Return of the Chop ", its one of the posts near the top, you shouldn't miss it, just post your request and someone will make a car look the way you want it and post it for you, hope this helps.
