As Team Mustang nears launch of the all-new 2005 Mustang, they are going to share interesting behind-the-scenes development stories via the growing use of "Weblogs". The Mustang development team will be the first group to use this new communication tool at Ford.
These personalized entries will appear at least twice a month so visitors can learn more about the team and the car. The first story, submitted by chassis launch leader Craig LeMoyne, can be viewed at http://blog.ford.com/blog.cfm.

By the way, notice how the guy at Ford says, "I drove down to Nashville with a hand-built 2005 Mustang GT development mule and my 2003 Mach 1. They say getting there is half the fun, which is especially true when you have two 300-plus horsepower Mustangs to drive." I think it is pretty certain at this point that this car is going to have over 300 horsepower.
As he said it will read the name of the song, I guess it'll read ID3 tags. I really hope so. Reading ID3 is not difficult, it's just a few bytes at the beginning of the file. If aftermarket systems just display the filenames - OK. But if Ford builds such a system for a production car - that would be a very, very bad joke.
Kotzenjunge: there are tools out there that can use the filenames to fill out ID3 info. Just google for MP3 taggers or something. You then tell the app that your MP3s are named like "Artist - Album - Track - Title" or something, and it'll fill that info into the ID3 fields of the files.

How did you find the blog? I have been checking the Ford website weekly and have for a couple of months and seen no sign of it when I did a search. I am mainly asking because I am wondering if there are other things that I have missed.
