B) Hey Brad, has anyone on here even ridden in a new Mustang? We got a chance last month and it was killer!! In fact, some idiot wrecked the one he was driving!! Guess one less pre-production 'stang isn't too bad. Good thing the management isn't cancelling the employee test-drive for Oct., I'm hoping toget a chance to drive this time!! B)

Hey ya local

I was there also.. someone wrecked on there? Seagulls were getting smashed, but that's all I know of. I know one of the pre-production got wrecked by a moron friend of a worker at AAI.

I was there at 9:30 - 3:30 what time were you there till?

Hi. Amy

I was there until about 8:30(got there at 7:30) and the moron hadn't wrecked it yet. I didn't find out about until Monday. Heard there was about 4 or 5 tickets (should've been more!!) handed out by our wonderful revenue enforcement officers, too.

Yup.. I made a mention about that.. the tickets and stuff... but I don't believe they happened during the Innovation Drive. My friends old cowork and good friend now works at AAI and I heard it through him and one of my clients from work who heard about it from another AAI employee. The wreck happened about 2 weeks before Belle Isle

Donation made, enjoy the trip. If not for this site, I would be driving an 01 Bullit or 02 Steeda now and feeling sorry I didn't wait a couple of months.

Yeah, I have a few questions on my list:

V-6 replacement time table
Brad,

Do you remember your e-mail exchange with the Ford Cologne engineer?

If you remember, he said that the V6 puts out around 220 HP. This was back when Ford was saying 200. Since Ford now says 210, I'd guess he is correct that the V6 puts out 220 and is under rated @ 210.

He also said that he knew of NO plans to replace the 4.0L V6 in the Mustang and that Cologne was working on a HP boost for 2006 or 2007. (wouldn't a 3 valve 260 HP V6 be something!).

So you may want to ask about what's going on with the 4.0 besides any replacement time table.
