2005 Mustang Launch Celebration
#41
Greetings all,
I joined this site a while ago but just like in real life I have pretty much slipped back into the shadows and just watch from a distance. However this post was enough to even bring me out of my self-induced-solitude. I have fed my obsession from this site for some time and was very happy to make a donation to give just a little back. In addition, Brad has done so much to promote this car that I was very gratified to see Ford giving a little recognition. Bravo to you Ford for supporting those who support you and sincere thanks to you Brad for creating and maintaining a positive home for all of us here.

This is unreal. There is no way I could have gone to Detroit without your help. Thank you.

Yeah, I have a few questions on my list:
Confirm my list of colors
18" wheels
SE
Bullitt legal issues vs. dark green GT
Steering wheel rumors (3-spoke to continue?)
Convertible hard boot
Convertible material (vinyl vs. cloth)
Next body style change?
V-6 replacement time table

Bridget, thanks for letting Brad spend so much time dealing with this site. It is a shame you cannot go with him.

I don't get jealous of the time he spends on here. Sometimes I get frustrated when I am trying to tell him something important, like trying to show him a really cute new outfit I got! Just Kidding. He is really good about managing his time. I don't ever feel neglected! Plus after he has been talking Mustangs he is always in such a good mood!
I wish I could go too. I am working on it. It is just that I started a new job about a month ago and I will be having tests in class that week. But, my parents really want me to be able to go with him and they told me that if I can manage to get out of work and class they would help me with the airfare. So maybe I will get to go and support him!

Brad,
If it wasn't for you and this website I would have been bouncing off the walls a LONG time ago while waiting for info! I haven't had a Mustang to drive since 2000 when I retired my 86 5.0 GT (225K miles) and I've been waiting for the newest incarnation since then. And now it's finally here (almost ). The least I could do is send the money I would have spent on a few magazines (which would have ended up having no new info anyway...). Please enjoy yourself and have a great time!

Sept. 27th? Umm.... Does this mean that the people that make the cars will be otherwise occupied on that day?
I have pretty serious reasons for asking.
Redfire GT
Shaker 1000
5-speed
Build date 9/27/04
Seriously though, glad you will be there, If you see a Redfire with Med. parchment cloth interior, make sure they do a good job.
