Woo Hooo!! I'll have to make the roady up there. I already saw one in San Antonio a month or so ago, but since I still haven't gotten my own, I'll take any chance to sit in one! Maybe the one in Dallas will be black like the one I ordered

Yes! I'll definately be going to that! I'd assume the stang they'll bring will be a pre-production, because they take the same ones around to do all the shows right?

That is awesome news! I will be there on Saturday. I hope they let you sit in it. It would be my luck they will have it roped off where you have to stand five feet away from it, but that will be better than nothing. From what everyone says it looks alot different in person than the pictures. Can't Wait!

April,
When is the state fair, in Alabama? I know that the car has been to many hi profile events this year. I saw it at Taste of Chicago, the inovation drive in Villa Park, Illinois, and at the Prairieland Round Up, Grand National Mustang show,in Springfield, Illinois. My sister saw it at the Minnesota state fair.

I'm in Houston. Is there anything worth seeing at the Texas State Fair besides the autoshow?

I can see it now:

Wife: "Look honey, the worlds largest acorn."

Me: "Gee, honey thats grand........why don't we head over to that tent <nudge, nudge>"

Wife: "Isn't the new Mustang grand."

Me: "Wow and it's affordable too........maybe it's time to replace your Corolla."

Two I know of in October...
Tuscaloosa and Birmingham, but the one in Birmingham is in a totally scary part of town, I don't think they would put a Mustang there.

Maybe you could call the capital, and find out the phone# for the people getting the fair together, then ask them, (in a calm voice) will Ford have a tent with the 2005 Mustang.
It's worth a shot!!!!!

Regarding the State Fair, aside from the car show there are great dog shows, decent food, and the chance to see or hear OU beat the crap out of Texas. Personally, a corn dog and an 05 Mustang is a pretty good combination. B)
