From a source:

Advertising will launch late October to early November. Stangs will start showing up on some lots in early October, but they won't be "everywhere" until late October/early November. And most of the first ones to hit the ground will be sold before they leave the factory. That's why Ford always launches advertising a few weeks after the first cars hit the ground, so dealers have adequate inventory and people don't see an ad and go to the dealer just to find out there aren't any available yet because the first ones were all pre-sold.

Yeah makes sense.

Ads try to hit when people can go and get what is advertised...thats the idea.

You can start ealier with a teaser/coming soon...but why bother...Mustang doesn't have to.
And that could put even MORE strain on an already late/shortage type launch.

I want to feel like I haven't made up my mind yet.

Run some cool mustang footage and I'll weigh my options.
