with this news, I may actually need to find a cure for heavy-footitis.

edit: or a radar detector

Can I ask how much well those radar detectors work? How much fro a decent one? Just curious I'll probably need one come spring B)

Jas
um i can ask my pops about how his works tomorrow for yah and get back to yah if yah want me too... because he has one in his truck... B) and dare i say it... he has never had a speeding ticket since he got his back in '98 [/b][/quote]
Yeah do that!

That sounds great. Do they scramble the signal or just let you know when radar is near?

welps they got a bunch of lights ont he front of them right and they blink or stay on for different settings...

and when the radar picks up a signal thats given off from either a police car or photo radar or laser radar unit... it will begin to beep... the closer u get to it the more it will beep... and once u past the radar it will stop so that u wont be bothered by it no mores.

my pops radar like i said is from '98 and it would begin to go off about 3 miles away from the radar... so my pops would have plenty of time to slow himself down. see hes like me we both got lead for a right foot so ive also been meaning on going out and buying myself one. but i just havent had the time (when i do have money) or i dont have the money (when i do have the time)... so i havent been checking out how much they cost...

but thats basically what my pops radar detector does... now im sure new ones now-a-days are like 1000x's better then his is... so id sya go to a place near u that sells them and ask about them and compare...

The only link you need for the best radar detector money can buy .

It's perfered over the passport 8500 which is one of the best.

This is for all you lead foots out there . Make the investment now and save you driving record later.

Or check this one out . It makes your car invisible to radar or laser. The company is so confident that it will work that if you get a ticket while using it they will pay the ticket. Now that's one h ell of a gaurantee .

Not legal in all states though :notnice:

Wow, guess I'm going to need to get some mods for the Mach 1 after I buy it. How much RWHP does the Mach 1 have stock?

LOL, no kidding. I'm definately going to invest in one of those two products.

I like the valentine better because once you buy the valentine you always have the option to upgrade it from the factory whenever the police guns get more sophisticated. It's a nomial fee to have it upgraded and once you buy a valentine you buy it for life. Cool.

So, about the 2005 Mustang GT...

That's about 20+ more HP than Mach 1's are putting out at the wheels, right? Around 276-ish for the Mach's is last I heard.

BTW> Off topic: Valentine One... the only two words you need to know when buying a radar detector.

Sounds good to me too .

Now that's one "option" that I'm definately going to get with my new Mustang .

Cause lord knows that once we get a feel of the power of this new car, we're all going to need a little insuracne

Here's the quote:

"...rumor has it that the '05 Mustangs are making 290-295 rwhp from their three-valve 4.6s in clandestine testing." (July 2004, p. 68)
no doubt that would be great but if you figure maximum loss of 25hp in the drive train that would mean that the engine itself would be turning no less than 320hp at the flywheel. an awesome number for a stock gt but also one that seems a little high.

Forget about radar detectors.

There is a special spray out there on the market which you have to spray over your plates in order to make them reflect the light from any sort of camera. It can't be seen with bare eyes if it's on the plate or not. Can't be smelled or felt either.

The foto gets your car, but the plates seem to be highlightened like the sun is in it. Therefor unreadable.

and it' s only 20 dollar for a can or something.

Start spraying, gentlemen.
