I wonder how well this will work? LM-22's are Bridgestone Blizzaks. Only see about an extra 63 ft*lb in 4th...

He means that since he has 4.30 gears (which is pretty rediculous for dry pavement driving) will he have problems driving on snow in the winter.
Well I think you bought the best snow tires there are, so you can't do any better in that department. I went cheap and got the Michelin X-ice tires which are Q rated, yours are V. I just have to keep it under 99 mph
I think I'm more concerned about wheel hop more than anything in the snow. I wheel hop all the time in heavy rain taking off from a stop. I'm afraid snow will just be constant wheel hop and annoying. Good thing it doesn't snow here that much. I can see myself putting on LCAs in the spring.
As for the gears, it will be really easy for you to spin out. Just keep it easy on the gas and make sure TCS is on. This is why I'm not getting 4.10s until March/April.

all I can say is put it in the garage.... but if you're like me, and it's the daily driver, when I had my '98 with 3.73s... I parked it and caught a ride. I live in Colorado, so there's lots of hills/mountains in addition to the snow, and most days when it would snow, particularly while I was at work, my car couldn't make it out of the parking lot. Granted, I still had the Z rated tires on it, but... good luck with that. I had to either have someone pick me up to take me home, or go to the nearest bar, get drunk with friends from work, and do the walk of shame the next day.
IF.... If I ever got it out of the parking lot, I usually did just fine.... what scared the S out of me was the other dirvers. I could handle mine just fine... but when everyone else with a 4x4 wanted to ride my **** when I'm already in the outside lane... that made me a little nervous.
I definitly like having a manual for the snow better than an auto... my '88 was an auto, and that blew.
