2005 Ford Mustang v6 oil pressure low and rattling noise

When starting the car the engine makes this loud rattling and shaking noises that drives me crazy. It isn’t throwing any codes but does give me the oil presssure low message. Any signs on what it could be.

up top is the yt link of my car and how it sounds. Any help?

TL;DR: You need a mechanic. Stat. Take the car directly via a flatbed tow truck to a good mechanic. Pass Go or not, hopefully collect $200 or more, because I don't think that's gonna be a cheap repair... but I've been completely wrong before, of course, and maybe it is a small, cheap repair... but there's honestly only one way to find out and driving that thing in that sounding condition is a chance I'm not willing to take myself, to be honest.

---

So the timing is ok or it'd throw a correlation code. The low pressure oil is causing the problem, and the longer you run it without oil pressure the more it's gonna be hurt.

Low oil pressure is either a lack of oil in the pan so not enough/no oil being sent through the engine, the pickup tube is blocked causing ditto, the oil pump is completely shot causing ditto again, or the bearings in your crank have spun to heck and that engine might be toast, as without good bearings the pressure won't be there. Volume, sure, not pressure though.

I can't really tell where it's comin' from in that video, but it kinda sounds like it's up top on the cams. And low pressure would mean the cams/followers/last adjusters aren't gettin' oiled properly and will clatter to next week... and possibly other things aren't being properly lubed up. Hence the TL;DR.

Not what you wanna hear, but I do hope it helps. Good luck to ya. And welcome to the forums!

Yep, I would have to agree with that and I would NOT be driving it. If the engine isn't hurt yet, it will fry it if you continue to drive it and/or even run it like that.
