2005 convertibles

We've had our GT convertible for a couple of weeks. I see a few other '05 Mustang convertibles around town (east Orlando) but haven't paid attention to the ratio of GTs to V6s.
There's a V6 convertible in our office parking lot right now - same color and top as our GT. It's a rental, so I expect I'll see a lot more Mustang convertibles around town in the future.

I was looking at the pictures in your gallery, I liked the intake cover in one of the photographs. Do you know that person or where they got the cover from?

We have a condo down there, will have to check out that Winter Park show sometime. Our condo is just west of Mall at Millenia.

Picked up 5/18 and just turned 1000 miles. Well worth the wait

just thought I'd start a thread, I see a lot of V6's on the road I see Gts here and there, I see V6 convertibles once in awhile, but where are the GT Verts at? I got mine on order which should be arriving the first week of July
so who else has a convertible, even if it's a V6 tell me about your ride and how nice its been with this nice weather.

Have had my Torch Red GT Convertible a week (700+ miles) now after delivery in Bremerhaven. Car has been a hit here and draws quite a stir with the Germans and Americans alike here in Stuttgart. There is another Torch Red GT convertible an hour away north and another was being delivered from Bremerhaven to K-town to another OMCS customer last Tuesday when I picked mine up. Great ride and lots of fun so far!

Picked up my car just over a week ago, and have about 450 miles on it as of today. It has been nothing but awesome
One of the best parts is letting other family and friends drive it and seeing how much they like it. I try to convince them all to buy one too
I look forward to driving it everytime I go out. It is a daily driver for me, but it will be garaged in the winter.
Top down driving is second to none......
Mineral Gray is an awesome color (aren't they all though?). I tried hard to capture the color in a few of these pictures and think I got pretty close.
I've only seen one other GT Vert in my area, and it is Legend Lime......

George, I don't think I've ever seen a gt vert driving around Chapel Hill. Mine will be here late July/early August and that will make at least 2. I'll take the south side of town if you take the north.

Looks like we have 5 local people (Central NC) with verts just in this one thread.
Gofisch -- High Point (Sort of local)
1st Stang -- Cary
Sonic Blue -- Hillsborough
NCPolice555 -- Chapel Hill
GoHeels -- Chapel Hill
Who else is in the area? Htwag is close by because he is the one that recommend Capital to me.
Pretty cool. Soulds like I am last in the queue to get my car so I can't accuse you guys of stealing my idea.
