Of course you could put on a set of 255/40-19's yourself, if you can afford them.

That's still 4" of rubber between the rim and the road, so they won't ride TOO hard, and man, they would look cool! They're within a couple mm's of 255/45-18's, so they won't mess up your odometer either.

Book value means nothing when it comes to tires. You don't even want to know what my BFG's KDW's were book. Trust me, I didn't pay book. B)

I have BFG's KDWS's on my Probe GT. They are an excellent tire. No road noise, they stick really well and the "S" version of the KDW_ means they have some bite for snow.

I drive my 225 50 R16's all year round.

A lot of people with mustangs love this tire also.

We are very lucky to have KDW's as stock rubber on the 05 IMO.

Does anyone think that an 18" rim will be way too big on a mustang??? I saw some rims tonight that were 18x8.5 and they were HUGE. If i'm thinkin correct and they are gonna be that big on the stang then imo they are way 2 big. Hope im thinkin wrong
