Saleen's has the metal insert in it. And I think that Cervini's may have it too.
These were taken when I just had the fronts added (after the rear). Why?

Any particular reason you don't want the light? With some of the idiot drivers out there I want as much red light visible so they won't hit me when they are talking on their cell phones.
I have the CDC, may try to put it on taday
I also added some LED lights to the underside for some interior lighting, will post some photos when done.

Saleen's has a brushed aluminum insert/trim piece on the outside face of the bar.
Reasons for no light:
1) No wiring required to get it to light
2) No wiring required to get it to not light when the top is up
3) Four brake lights is a little too much IMO
4) Because it's available without. (not to be a smart-butt, but seriously since there was one available without the light, it made by decision easier; if the Aeroform bar would have only been available with it, I still would have bought it)

Speaking of, I got an email back from CDC and the DO make a light bar sans/brake light! It is $20 more though than their normal version since they pre-fab the bars with the light... They said it would be considered a special order...
So now I need to decide whether having the CDC without the light is worth it...

I agree 100% with these... I like the look of the bar, but I just don't need another light and/or the hassle of wiring it in...

I was *thinking* about buying it, I really like the look of it...
I'll probably end up buying it... I was hoping that it would be closer around the Aeroform price, but I guess I would be one of the few with a CDC light bar without a light and that would be kind of cool...

Well, it didn't take me long to think about it, I ordered it today! LOL!
The lady I had been talking with at CDC was VERY helpful and even told me of another website to buy from which gave me free shipping, so all together it was $445 shipped for the bar without the light! Not bad!
