Competition Orange Convertible With Roll Bar Finally!!!!

I've been chomping at the bit to see a CO GT ragtop up close and personal. Tonite the Mustang gods smiled upon me.

It's more beautiful than I imagined. Not crazy about the light bar, but even still, if I ever had to replace my '14 GT 'vert, it would be with a CO GT.

Very nice! I'm not crazy about the light bar or the color, but she still looks good. Good to see some rake in the stance. Nice wheels. IS that a special kind of boot on there? Can't really tell but it looks interesting.

Light bars look much better on an S197. It disrupts the lines on the S550 in my opinion. I saw it arrive...I think it's lowered, and it had a very serious sounding exhaust.

I don't think the S550's have boots. The center section is the retracted top and it goes deeper into the well than ours. There are two wings (or caps) that fill in the flanks. It looks like a nice design and the filler pieces look easier to install than our full boots.

I've yet to see a drop top in Guard. Magnetic and DIB are nice, and Triple Yellow didn't float my boat. But that CO 'vert grabbed me by my short and curlies and wouldn't let go.

That's awesome.
If I were to get a '15 Mustang, it would be either Competition Orange or Triple Yellow. Two of the nicest colors for that body style in my opinion.

A CO GT Coupe with the PP that I saw at a dealer last year is what changed my opinion of the S550. But I'm partial to rag tops, and from the pics I'd seen I couldn't decide if it was a good color for a 'vert. Now I know, and it is incredible.

On the other side of the coin, if I was in a position to do so I'd give up on the CO 'vert and mine if I could slide myself into a White/Blue striped GT350.

Yes sir.
It's all a win-win if you ask me.
I would like a GT350, but the ADM for these cars are outrageous. I think someone on the other Mustang forum ordered one at MSRP, but I don't know how true that is.

That's a fine looking S550 CO 'vert.

I do think the optional 20" wheels are the best factory wheels on a Mustang yet. MUCH nicer than the all-black 19" Performance Pack wheels, that's for sure. With a bit of lowering and a decent exhaust, the S550 really is just about perfect for me.
