I was taking my GF home the other night in a residential area (25-30 mph), and I got hit by a 3" diameter road turtle that they use as lane dividers in places. The only thing I can figure is that it must have been upside down in the road, and the oncoming car hit it, and it started spinning in the air......right into the front end & bouncing onto the hood of my mustang (ouch). It rashed my paint on the front end, and also on the top of my hood a little bit. I tried to get it out with rubbing compund and wax, but couldn't get it out unnoticable. It didn't break the paint, so maybe a professional detail shop can get it out. I'm lucky that it didn't make mass dents, because it hit me really hard, and I initially thought some kid threw a baseball or something at me. When I pulled over, I sat in the car for a minute....half scared to get out and look.
