i agree - i still regret selling my first 66 mustang.. even though i have owned several other 65/66 stangs.. and maybe my kids will regret me selling my other late model stangs when they see pics of those...

Despite the new Mustang's heritage, it's a different car than the '65. One is for everyday, one is for nostalgia. I sold my '66 vert to help pay rent back in '84, and I still tear up when I think about that car. I would gladly pay 4x what I got for it, or more, to get it back. They may have made millions of those cars back then, but they aren't making any more, and the price will never go down. Of course your situation is unique to you, but if you can't have both, I'd wait to get the new one. Keep the history. Or sell it to me.....

keep the 65 and start saving thats only like 550 a week if you save for 52 weeks
