Hey everyone! I've been wanting to go wider in the rear and have been searching all over the web for either 18x10.5 or 18x11 wheels to handle the 315s. I decided to go with Apex EC-7 wheels because they're specifically made for the S197 and they have a great warranty and replacement policy. To be able to run 18x11, you might have to modify the rear bump stop to prevent rubbing. You can find out more about that under "Rear Bump Stop Info" at this link...S197-Mustang-Wheel-Tire-Fitment-Guide. Basically, you might have rubbing only when the suspension is at full drop and there's no load under the axle. It won't rub when the vehicle is in motion. You can choose to remove the bump stop bracket and get a bump stop relocation bracket or just place a jack under the pumpkin and lift the car from there to keep the suspension loaded. The tires are Nitto NT555 G2. I won't be able to get these installed until end of month due to work needs. Anyone else running 315s in the rear? Let's see them!
Thanks for the info. No I am not running 315's, but would like to for the road track. Forgestar's sold by Vorschlag used to be the "de facto standard" for the road track guys for this setup. Vorschlag has supposedly figured out the offsets to get 11" wheels with 305 or 315 tires on the front and back, but they do not publish the offsets.
I'll be interested to see and hear how they fit; and what is the offset?
PS/EDIT -- looking at the link; are the ET52 meaning +52mm offset?

That's correct. They're +52mm offset.
Here are some pics I found on the web of Apex EC-7 wheels in 18x11 mounted.

I took the wheels and tires to a shop yesterday so they can mount and balance them. Also had them install new valve-stem-type TPMS sensors that I purchased on Amazon and ditched the OEM band-style. I then mounted the wheels/tires in my garage after picking them up from the shop and retrained the TPMS sensors so I wouldn't get sensor fault errors. I don't have any rubbing issues surprisingly.
The outside shots were taken with my DJI Mavic Air 2 drone.

offset looks just about "right" -- they poke just a little but hopefully won't rub on full suspension compression
I've been doing some spirited driving and I'm loving these 315's. No rubbing issues yet. These tires really hook and I no longer spin the tires like I did with the 295's.
I just want to say, that this 3 yr old post was my inspiration to go the same route. Here's my 18x10 F and 18x11 R (315/40/18). Love the look and thanks for the discussion here that helped me decide!! Same tires too Nitto G2
I can only afford to buy the tires from the entire car, hehe. Did you know that when I was researching research paper writing websites, I stumbled upon this website SPAM REMOVED I was searching for essay samples online and found this site. I read through some of these essay samples to see if I could write the best essay for me. Changing your mirrors to have wider field of view during backup manoeuvres might help improve your positional awareness.
