To no avail, I tried the search, I KNOW that its been stated here. But what tires come on the 18 in fan blades from the factory? Mine should be here the week of the 4th, and was curious! Thank you, and sorry I failed at the search function

nifty

Now I'd still like to know exactly how the GT suspension is tuned differently when ordered with the 18's as I read in the current MM/FF?

Yea, I dont think that is what is on the Mustang, order guide says, 235/50/18

When selecting the new upgrade, customers will receive an entirely new look including larger wheels and g-Force tires (size: 255/45R18) featuring an aggressive tread pattern that combines the best of both dry and wet performance into one tire.

Do the g-force tires come in 235/50/18? I've seen 215s at Sears... They have 5 different sizes for those tires, maybe the 235/50/18 is the OEM tire?

Hum...not 255's??? You're speedo's going to be off slightly as you haven't kept the overall tire diameter constant....but only by a few %.

I know 255 45 R18 is 0.5% off.

I think they come with All-Season BF-Goodrich tire, not the KDW-2. Here a link to a thread Brad started yesterday. Take a look at the tires.

I kind of figured that, but when I had my friend Dave drive along side me the speedo matched at 35 45 55 and 65mph, if it made a difference it wasn't enough to notice.

Your overall diameter is decreased by 4% which might be two or three mph at most.

Question about the "all-season" tires. I've looked at BFG's website and the only tires that are all-season and are available in 235/50ZR18's are the G-Force T/A KDWS and the G-Force T/A KDW NT (new tread). My guess is that Ford will use the KDWS's because of their traction in snow, and the picture that Brad posted looks to have the same tire. Of course BFG might not have their website updated. So, my question is which one will they use? I tried calling Ford but their computers are down.

Scroll up. They are the KDWS.

Here's some definitive answers, courtesy of my new '06 I'm no tire buff, so I'm not even sure what "KWDS" stands for... but here's a massive pic of my new 18's with fanblades:

Dan, just because I choose not to post doesn't make me stupid. I realize that you are moderator, however when a salesman states that they are not KDW's it makes you wonder who is correct. Just asked a question, because of the dicrepensies between the posts that I read. No hard feelings, but make sure you read all the posts yourself.
