Since we have been together
1994- Some godawful speeding in the backwoods of Dalghren Va.
1995- Speeding down a backroad in Mississippi
1996 I-85 Charlotte- Speedtrap, Cop played friends then stuck it to him.
2003- Speedtrap in Montevallo Al- Got dinged for 45 in a 35- $134.
Which on the same day I was going 80 in a 55, and got pulled over by a trooper who let me off with a warning because I cried.
And mine:
going 59 in a 55 slower than the flow, I got dinged because the ****head cop assumed I saw him and slowed. I got screwed for 75 in a 55 that day- and NO he wasn't running radar, he was driving with his radar gun on. No I didn't fight it because it was giving me anxiety attacks and I paid it to make it go away.
As far as being pulled over:
Me:
1990- Skidded under a redlight in Hoover al. Let off with nothing because I was 16, in a stupid RWD camaro, it was pouring out and I was TRYING to stop for the redlight.
1991- reckless endangerement, riding through a subdivision with a Friend straddling my TTop bar(my teenage stupidity).
1992- Speeding in Chicago, let off with a warning.

One of my previous cars was a Taurus SHO, i was probably doing 90 in a 70. The trooper wrote it up as an improper lane change and told me to slow it down next time. I think he gave me a break, it only cost me $60.

My last ticket was for 95km in a 60km zone and no seatbelt.
It helps when a friend is a Staff Sargeant. They dropped it down to 70km (no points) and dropped the seatbelt charge.
Here in Ontario when the Police set up radar, they step out onto the road in front of you to wave you over. But I guess they are not totally stupid, because they don't do it that way when it is raining or snowing.
The logic of jumping out in front of a speeding car kind of escapes me!
