Hi guys

After a 20min drive I come home and I can clearly hear the steering squeaking, when you turn left or right its coming from the steering column, very annoying, its a 10month old 2008 v6, why is that?

the other problem is when the shifter is in Drive with my foot on the brake, I hear a rattling noise coming straight under the middle of the dashboard, almost behind the 2 vents..when driving you dont hear it but once u stop it becomes louder..I want to make educated guesses to ford so they dont scam me $80 to fix it

 

Should be covered underwarranty, regardless of cause and repair

 

There is a TSB on the rattle and the steering should be a warranty item.
