'07 Mustang GT Tungsten w/GT Appearance Package Order
Avoiding the dreaded "6/6/06" date, I will be completing the order at X-plan price for an '07 GT coupe with these specs tomorrow -
2007 Ford Mustang GT Deluxe Coupe w/5-speed manual transmission
Tungsten Grey metallic clearcoat
light graphite interior color with cloth seats
Shaker 500 stereo
spoiler delete
18” premium aluminum ("fanblade") wheels
Sport Appearance Package w/interior color accent
locking lug nuts
3.55:1 axle ratio
GT appearance package
This car will assume daily driver duties so I can retire my '03 Mach for weekends.
I have been watching those ordering, receiving, and then personalizing their cars for the better part of 2 years on this forum. I am happy to engage in the same now. Doug "Burningman" Schramm has put up with my numerous requests to produce edited images of the appearance changes I've been considering (paid, of course). It has helped to pass the time, and I have somewhere around 10-12 different images.
After all is said and done, I will be adding 3 body parts and leaving the rest of the car stock through the warranty period. It will look like one of these 2 images below.
Thanks to all the people who have shared their experiences. I have learned a lot and now hope the wait has been worth it.

Congrats. I like the photchops.
I am planning on heading down to the dealer in th next two weeks to finally order mine. Even though I was delayed by about 10 months I am getting very excited.

As an FYI, I was told today the X-plan price was showing $107 more than what was in the ordering system last week, despite the price level being the same.
Anybody have that experience previously?

As an FYI for others ordering an '07, the FDAF assessment cost (which I think is regionally set) went up from $312 to $420, accounting for the increase.
The order is in as of 6-7-06.

please get the polished 18's, they look so much better in person I think. It really sets off the mustang. The fanblades are fairly dull in appearance. I got the polished and would not go the fanblades after seeing several of them. Polished blows them away. so while your order is still new, my suggestion is to chane them. But if you really love those boring fan blades, too each his own.

The WebElectic pony corral surround is the part which will make it look similar to the Pony Package V6 grille.

I talked with a dealer in the Detroit area who I was told had good allocation and they said 10-12 weeks, based on the options.
Since someone reported they saw a bunch of GTs with hood scoops at AAI in the last week, you took pictures of the orange car with the fanblades, and the GT/CS models on BON all show scoops, I hope the Detroit dealer is wrong.
