'07 Chassis Upgrades

Suspension settings on the GT500 convertible were left a bit softer to reduce chassis flex, but happily both Shelby models (as well as all 2007 and later base Mustangs) benefit from chassis upgrades in the firewall, transmission tunnel and frame rails.

Anyone have more info on this? Sounds like the '07 will be a bit better in the handling department.

Yep, it's a SHELBY. It had better perform better than our GT's.

I think it is saying that all Mustangs, starting with the 07's, are getting this upgrade.

I believe these are chassis reinforcements to help the GT500, given the weight impact of the drivetrain. It should help in the rigidity department, which might have an impact on handling. It probably adds some weight to the base and GT models though.
