Well ,Since Mazda is owned by ford, I would probably guess that this is the exact color.

All of this is some of the wildest specualtion I've seen on this site. Just because Mazda, a Ford subsidiary, has a similar paint has nothing to do with Ford using it on the '06. There is not a shread evidence to support this idea in this thread. :nono:

I hope you all are wrong as the Mazda titanium paint does not compare with the show car titanium paint.

Actually, guys, that RX-8 color isn't quite the same. If you search this site you'll find pics of the Mustang GT in Titanium and it's a little lighter...closer to silver...than what's pictured above. It still looks awesome, though.

Edit:The Old Fart beat me to it. Titanium will be as directly above.

It's more like a graphite color. I actually really like the RX-8 in that color...cool car with amazing handling dynamics. Too bad they don't have any ***** under the hood.

I stand corrected. The rx- 8 is a titanium grey. My bad. Although we all don't know what the actual titanium color will be. Weather it's like the concept or the mazdas.I like them both!!! I want to clear something up with old fart. My guess was based on mazda and ford using the same color codes. The mazda 6 is using some of the same colors as the mustang this year including the red fire.

Although the rx-8 looks just as light in color with a bright light shining down on it like the pic above.

Remember, the color list for 06 comes from someone who said that there is going to be a California Special "SE" in Jan. We haven't heard anything of the sort (except from him), so that casts doubt on the colors being correct.

Actually there is evidence of Mazda using colors first followed by Ford.

Just 1 example is "Light Tundra Metallic Clearcoat". This color first appeared on 2002 Mazdas (under a different name) and then showed up on 2003 Lincolns.
