I see that the 8/01/05 price guide was posted on the site. THANKS BRAD FOR THAT! Amazing how much info i have found on this site.

But i have a question, what does the (Class 620) mean? Is that special pricing for someone?

i ordered an 06 on June 3rd and it is scheduled for build 8/15. The dealer told me i was lucky to order early because i locked on to the 05 list price before the price increase went through. He told me there was a nice size increase. But from the price list i dont know what gives??? the MSRP is lower than the 05 price i got!!!!

can anyone explain??? do i have to go talk to my dealer about something?????

I'm going from memory for my '06 GT 'vert Premium order (X-Plan).

The MSRP and dealer invoice look the same as I got (I believe)

My price on IUP was $401, MSRP was $450, which is the same.

I'm not sure about the other costs (anti-theft/Shaker 1000/air bags). I'll have to check tonight.

Edit: just talked to my wife.

The MSRP prices I have exactly match what's on the pricing sheet.

The Dealer "retail" matches for the GT Premium 'vert.

For the options, the "dealer retail" differs by a few dollars versus the price sheet. I'm wondering if X-Plan pricing is dealer invoice w/o holdback, or something.

IUP: me: $401 - price sheet: $392
Shaker 1000: me: $1,153 - price sheet: $1,127
Anti-theft: me: $263 - price sheet: $257
side air bags: me: $329 - price sheet: $322

Off by a total of $48, so no big deal...

I saw a story in the local paper (Austin American Statesman) that said the big 3 are lowering the base price of many of their vehicles for '06. Didn't say anything about the Mustang of course, but I thought it was interesting none the less.

The Mustang seems to be exempt from the whole Employee Pricing Incentive too going on right now.... Not that it would do me any good.

I got the same thing as you.
Not much of a price increase ofer 615 vs 620 just destination
18" wheels are the same price.

I am not really sure what price level I got, but my VOC has the base MSRP $ of 26995.00 (GT Prem Coupe) - I mean yeah, no real big deal, but it is $650.00 higher than this 620 price level listed. All my options are the same $ just the base is different.

Just confused i guess... - Am i just missing something? just trying to figure out if my dealer is trying to pull something over me?

OK, but check the prices on the Dealer Invoice w/Holdback. Most of the options are priced lower!

The MSRP may have gone up on the car I ordered due to the extra $20 destination charge......

But my Invoice price went DOWN about $300 bucks! I.e, I could have negotiated lower!!!!!
