So does that mean if I place an order for an 06 GT w/fanblades, and I am working with a dealer with poor allocation, that I could be bumped up in production time? (I am not sure how Fords system works). Won't everybody who wants the 18" bullits have their orders held until they are available? :scratch:

 

Still no order guides as of this AM. Also when i ordered an '06 GT last week there was NO mention of 18" Bullits on the on line ordering system, only 18" aluminum. I don;t know where anyone got the info about 18" Bullits as it has not appeared in any Ford correspondance i have seen.

Just went back on line and under the GT vert it lists

17" bright machined
18" bright machined
18" premium

No other info is listed nor are order guides out to get a better description.

 

I guess the $1000 question will be (once order guides are out) is, are the fanblades the "bright machined" and the bullitts the "premium?"

I had no problem placing an order last week and I have an unpriced DORA. Some dealers are not that in tuned to how the actual ordering system works and most salesmen have no clue.

 

Called a dealership I know .. he said he had the order guide for 06 ... :scratch: I told him to print it up so I can take it home. If he DOES have it .. I'll scan and upload... I doubt it though

Yeah, that is a little higher than I had expected (especially if the tires are 235s). I'll still order them. Do you think ordering this option will get me car built sooner? (if the 18" bullit wheel rumor is true)?

 

Well, the Canadian order guide doesn't allow ordering ICAP with Tungsten or Vista.

My question is, will this be the case in the U.S.? Has anyone forced an '06 order that included Tungsten with ICAP and got a DORA back confirming it???

 

The DORA I have shows Tungsten with the ICAP. Order guides are not out as of this AM in the US.

Does the ICAP red match with Tungsten?? I think so but not everybody does??....Why not? I am really undecided between red ICAP with Tungsten or ordering Windveil Blue with Dark Charcoal........Is the red too much color in the longrun?? I love it though.......but the Windveil is so gorgeous and not so loud. What Mustang would be better for a 37 year old professional male for a daily driver?? Thanks, Frank :scratch: :scratch:

 

I had a '72 Datsun 240z that was a little lighter silver than tungsten, but it had an all red interior and looked really great.

I think the red will be a nice color for tungsten, but if for some reason ICAP wasn't offered, my heart wouldn't be broken, because the charcoal looks nice too.

Tungsten with a black ragtop and red interior...That's what I'm talking about!

 

I emailed him and [b]it worked, I think? he got an "order confirmation" titled sheet also has RETAIL DLR INV dated, 5/20

(faxed it to me) not a DORA though

we will see if i get a DORA on mon or wed the 25th

it does say "priced DORA req"

both tungston and red int up pack. is included, but the Canadian guide said not avail. so this may change to charcoal int.

nothing about LSD rear end (I told him to look for any rearend options, nothing like 453 code)

it does show on wheels / tires:

T8G 235 /50 / 18 on one line, then seven options later it shows:

64E 18" BRT MACHIND
PONY CENTER CAP (I assume this is the "fan blade" wheel )

(the Canada info showed a 255 / 45 / 18 A/S tire as avail. my dealer couldent find, as I asked)

I just think I'll wait until the official order guide is released--hopefully this week. I'd really like the 64W 18" bullitt wheels and ICAP. Thanks for the info!
