I'd have put this in the "Rumor Mill," but that's no longer available.

Has anyone seen the order guide yet? I'm usually able to give my dealership more information from this forum than he is able to give me, so not hearing from him yet is not a big surprise.

Has anyone seen the order guide yet? The Ford website still lists the '05.

I have but from inside sources. The 2006 order bank does indeed open today but that doesn't mean all the dealers have the guides yet. I brought in the order guide I have on Saturday to order my 2006. The dealer was quite happy I brought them the guide, so I let them keep it.

If you've seen the order guide, can you answer any questions about changes for 06. it's been rumored that the ICAP will be blue? Is this true or just rumor? Also, will there indeed be a pony package for the V6, and if so, what does it include?

ICAP is still red. It's not blue. Yes, there is a V6 Pony Package (fog lights, 17" wheels, etc.). It looks pretty nice, but I'll stick with my V8.

Want to know another tidbit? There will be two, yes I said two, 18" wheels. The first are the fanblade as we all know, the second are polished rims that look like the Bullitts that are standard on the current GT. The Bullitt rims won't be available till October due to being recently added to the 2006.

I had already brought all this up in another thread. I have already ordered an '06 GT in Tungsten with red ICAP. Got the DORA back last week. I am sure someone will put their name on it soon.

The order guides have NOT been published yet [as of 7AM today]. The only big changes were the colors and the now optional 18" wheels.

Yeah, I saw that you had read the order guide so I didn't feel the need to post much about it. I assumed everyone knew everything because you confirmed it (such as the ICAP being red and not blue).

I should get my DORA today or tomorrow. Ordered a Vista Blue GT premium with IUP and the fanblade 18" wheels. I may switch to the bullitt 18" wheels if it's October and my car still isn't scheduled.

I'd love to have 18" bullitts! I'm just a bit unclear about ordering them. Even if I ordered a 'stang today, build 1 isn't until August. Are you saying that I couldn't order the bullitts this week? I probably wouldn't take delivery until October anyway, correct???

There is an order code for the 18" bullitts. If I remember correctly, fanblades are 64E and bullitts are 64W. It's in the order guide I had with a note of late availability. Once the guides come out, you should be able to order them. Not sure how it would effect your build date, but I know for a fact the 18" bullitts are not ready till October.

You could probably order the 18" bullits, but your car would just sit in the system until they were available, similar to those that ordered a manual V6.

Was the price on the fanblades $250 as an option? I think this is what we have heard.

So you say the pony package comes with 17" wheels? Any details on these, like what they look like and size, etc. I'm considering ordering some of the pieces from the pony package to put on my 05 V6, depending on what they look like.

The order guides typically don't have pricing in them, just the order codes.

I don't have a scanner.

Order guide doesn't list prices and the 2006 order bank didn't open till today so when I ordered there were no prices listed.

The order guide I have doesn't have the pictures of the 17" pony package wheels, or either 18" wheel. I've seen both 18" elsewhere, but I never asked to see the 17" pony package wheels. I could ask my person but they aren't in town at the moment.

I guess this is your 15 minutes of fame, having everyone on the forums ask you a million questions about the 06s. It must feel pretty good, lol.

That's why I haven't posted in such a long time.

Nope, but I know they are making one. That's 2007 limited edition.
