06 Instrument Cluster in a kit car?

I'm new to themustangsource forum so please be patient as I come up the learning curve. I have a Jamaican kit car (originally manufactured in the '70s) and I'd like to install an '06 Mustang cluster in it; the gauge layout and color schemes are awesome!
I've search this site as well as the web and can't find too much information on how to interface with the gauges. Does anyone know if the signals going to the cluster are (1)analog or (2)are they PWM? Do I need to have the computer in order to interface with the cluster? Any and all input would be greatly appreciated.
Best regards,
Kitcarguy
