I'm looking to order a new GT convertible, so I'm working on that options I want to have included. I've worked up this list so far, wondering if anyone with experience thinks I'm missing something I should get or should skip something I'm considering.

Mustang GT Premium Convertible
- Vista Blue Metallic
- Parchment roof/Med. Parchment Interior
- Interior Upgrade Package
- Shaker 1000 audio system
- 17" wheels
- Wheel locking kits
- Front seat side-mounted airbags
- Active anti-theft system.

As a side note, I'm trying to find a dealer in the San Francisco Bay Area who will take x-plan for an '06 GT 'vert. If anyone knows of one, I'd appreciate the pointer (either reply here or PM me).

 

You have it pretty well loaded there. Look for the thread on new wheel options - you might want to consider other wheels. Not that your choice isn't fine, though.

If you can get a GT vert for x-plan, my hat is off to you!
