I'm dying to know the answer to this one. I want the GT vert in titanium with fan blades. August 8 is not that far off and I would love to get my order in.

I hope it will not be that long of a delay between shipping and Job start date on the '06.
There should not be a lot of changes between the 05-06. I'm just guessing, but changes will probably be limited to options and colors.
Anybody have any insight from previous model years where changes were minor? How long after Job start before they hit dealer lots?
I just ordered an '05 and the dealer was not optimistic that I would receive as on '05. I'm not in a huge hurry, but waiting until Oct. will be a real pain.

Yeah I doubt it'll be that long.
In the beginning it was a new model, and ford wanted to make sure that every dealer had 1-2 on the lot for show/tell.
This year won't be like that, so you can be sure that they'll be out sooner than the 05s were with less hold time (unless of course something went wrong)

The previous model years and on other product lines without major changes, the ship dates run 2-3 weeks after build date just like normal. It wouldn't suprise me to see the first 06's hit last of august first of sept.

Don't forget, they will want to get as much as they can out of the 05, so I would guess a delay will be artificial if needed.

It should get to you between 10-20 days after build.
