The '06 will be my first stang....

I've waned one since I was a kid cuz my dad had a 1971 Mach-1 & a '78 Cobra.... My Uncle had a '69 Mach-1 and a '68 289 Convertible. So when I got my lisence I wanted a stang but couldn't afford the insurance on one. So I unded up with my current car (1994 Thunderbird)... So I can't WAIT to get out of college and get an '06

It'll be my first new mustang. I used to be a firebird fan (my last car was a '00 ls1 firebird formula) but now that gm has left us high and dry I'm ready to be a ford convert!

As for classics I've had a few '73 convertible mustangs...nothing beats a classic mustang!

I was thinking of buying a T-Bird......rented one for a couple of weeks
and couldn't get the drivers seat adjusted right for my back. After about three days it bothered my lower back. Didn't know what I wanted and
last June started looking at the Mustang info.

I am 43 years old and yes, this is my first Mustang. Basically my wife and I just fell in love with the new body style when our son showed us a picture of it on the net several months ago. We love the fact that it has retro styling cues and all of the modern conveniences and technology. Great handling but not so stiff that it is uncomfortable. She prefers the automatic transmission but Ford didn't forget about me when they made the auto a "almost quick as stick" 5 speed. Finally, a beautiful interior with enough room for all four of us (2 boys ages 12 and 18). Love it! B)

I have wanted one ever since I came to this country 5 years back. Living in Ohio and seeing all those 60's and 70's stangs, got me hooked to the mustang tradition.
When I could afford a car around 2002, I found out about the 05 and decided to wait.
This is going to be my first stang, but I am sure its not going to be my last.

This is my first Mustang,

I was planning on buying a 2003 Mach1 when I completed university in '03, but after seeing some of the concept sketches coming out for the "new" model, I decided to wait and see. When I saw the 2005, I knew that I was buying one, and waiting has helped me save up for a decent downpayment.

This will be my first mustang, and the reason I've waited until now... well, cost of insurance, payment... those being my primary two reasons. I was looking at a 2001 mustang GT that a friend of mine is trying to sell (still having no luck). Unfortunately for him, he was surfing a site looking at the 2005 and it kinda grew on me. I've grown up around Ford's my entire life... first car outta high school was a 94 ranger, then after that a 1999 ranger. I am sick of driving mini trucks, and didn't want a f150 or anything bigger. I've loved Mustangs since I was a kid, so I asked myself that question, did the math and figured it all out. I could go on my life drooling everytime I see a mustang, or I could just go ahead and buy one. So now I sit here and wait with all the mustang obsessed.

This will be my first Mustang. I'm in love with the retro style, and the performance of the V8. Seems like a good deal since everything else out there was 30K plus......

Yep. Actually it's my first ford. First car was a 69 rs/z28. Was always my favorite but it was to me the end of the muscle car era and I wasn't especially fond of the mustangs until this last model series, I think 99-04. Saw the commercial for the new one, went to the car show and saw it in person and got the bug. After having it for almost a week I can say it's a fantastically fun car again...I can't seem to go slow in it. It just begs to be let out and run. I can't wait to see what mods are available to make it even more exciting....zoom zoom zoom...

Well... we'll see what the money situation looks like after I'm out of school for a year or so (I graduate this May)... so far i'm just shooting to own a GT. If when I get out of college i get a good job, I'll work for a year and get an 06 GT. If for some reason I get a REALLY GOOD job... maybe I'll go for the Cobra. But I can't see myself paying that much for a car as a ~23-24 year old

So for now I'll just think about the Sonic Blue GT that's on my desktop
