I have a set of Mustang rims with winter tires off of my 2000 GT. will they fit on the new car? I was looking at the calipers and they seem to be bigger then on the old car. I don't feel like taking a wheel off to check. Thanx for any help..

Ohhh yeah...they are bigger.
How large are your winter tires?

Cause anything less than 17s won't fit over the rotors/calipers.
05s got BIGGER brakes

The bolt pattern is the same but you will need 18's. (We have an aftermarket brake system on ours. So I'm not sure about stock.) But the offsets will be way off. It will look a little odd with SN95 wheels on there.

Hey Guys
I know this this is "Dumb" but what is this offset you guys are talking about?
I like the "Bullitt" style wheels 17x9 and 17x10.5.
If I want that style for the '05 what offset do I ask for??

The new offset is +45mm but with a wider tire you might try +30mm but the tire spokes have to be shaped right to fit i.e. curve out enough to clear the brakes. The bullites should be fine they curve right. Oh yeah 25mm=1 inch
