We are wanting to buy a red convertible. Does anyone know what the new 06 color to replace torch red is going to be called? Do you know if the shade is similar? The concept called it redline red? I am also restoring a factory red 70 mach 1 and I want to paint it an updated red to match our new vert. Maybe might want to hold off for the 06 color.
I cant wait to see the new pictures from the LA car show. My wife has a Sebring convertible now that she loves. She likes what she sees so far from the Mustang vert pictures. So good chance we trade the Sebring. But I can,t see how we would buy one without driving it first. Didnt that bother you new owners some.

The '05 vert will have Torch Red and Redfire. The '06 vert will have Colorado Red and Redfire. The '06 colors aren't official yet though.

Go to the thread called "Ford give us more colors" currently on page 3 of the forums. See page 3 of that forum. It has a photo of a Focus in "Colorado Red," which is supposed to replace Torch Red for 06 MY. Hope this helps! B)

I guess within the next 2 months order guides could be leaking out for '06. We'll see what the final color pallete will be.
